Let me start by saying there are 168 hours in a week.
20 of those hours are spent in a class of some sort.
10 of those hours are spent doing homework for a class of some sort.
30-35 of those hours are spent at my "part-time" job.
That takes us down to 108 hours.
56 of those hours are supposed to be for sleeping, but let's be realistic; I rarely sleep eight hours a night. So we'll make it 28, four hours a night, on a rough average.
Now we're down to 80 hours.
Taking off the time I spend travelling to any of my destinations, the time working on my second freelance job, the time eating, and the time attending to other basic needs, and I'm pretty much close to zero. I'm booked up. And I've got to start focusing on my career. I've got to make a place for myself in the world.
So, as much as it pains me to announce this, I'm leaving For Writer's Sake.
To be honest, as of late I've been far too busy to keep up with the site happenings anyway, and I know I've been holding back various RPG's and things with my absence. I haven't been a good Moderator, a good member, a good...anything.
So, here it is: for any and all formal RPG's I'm a participant in, someone may take control of my characters or ignore him/her as the fancy strikes. For the Harry Potter: the Next Generation RP, discuss among yourselves where you want to go or if you want it to continue at all. I'll leave that entirely up to you; it isn't fair for me to close a game just because I'm leaving.
For my teammates in the current-running event: I apologize. I honestly am not going to be able to keep up. If you can find someone to replace me, do it.
If anyone would like to get a hold of me, reply to this. I'll log in one last time in a few days and privately message you with my contact details. Then I'll be deleting my account.
Again, this hurts to do, but I've got to set my priorities in order, and when FWS goes up against my career options...the career wins.
Much love,
-AS
